Mountain Heights Montessori
Montessori has more than 100 years of creating excellence in education. From infant to toddler to preschool to elementary, Montessori develops confidence, problem solving skills and offers a world of inspiration and self discovery.
Started in 2007, Mountain Heights Montessori is a state licensed and accredited Montessori private school. Our teaching staff consists of dedicated educators with a life long commitment to continuing education. All staff members have been fingerprinted and have passed stringent background checks.
Sustainability and Earth consciousness is our goal. In our continued efforts to become a “greener” school, our classrooms and office recycle paper and plastics. Our solar screens help to keep our emissions down and won us an NV Energy award for sustainable practices.
We participate in the DART Styrofoam recycling program and all our paper goods and plastic utensils are made from recycled materials. It is our belief that teaching children to care for the Earth begins a life long practice of empathy towards others and creates an understanding of the delicate balance of life.
Our community feel and involvement is the key to our success. We value our families and have a commitment to making our community diverse and open to all types of families and children. Our families participate in community service projects, fundraisers and awareness activities each month. By teaching your child about the community they live in, you prepare them for world.
